Fuel gauge problem

this summer I found my reserve light don't light on anymore, and I get dry on the side of the road with DTE at 22 miles.

last week, gauge at 1/4 of the tank, my wife call me and tell, the car stopped alone.
Same story as this summer but DTE displayed 86 miles, I put 3 gal of gasoline and it starts like nothing happened

Where to looks ? something disturb the sender in the tank ?

Sorry for my english, Hope you'll understand me !!
