Fun with Power Windows!

Hey everyone! I have an 05 Grand Cherokee that the back passenger window does not work in. I have had the door apart, replaced the motor et all. Still nothing. All of the other windows work as well as all four locks.

I am thinking master switch next. What do you think?

Thanks
Dave

Re: Fun with Power Windows!

I think you might want to get a meter and check the circuit instead of just changing parts. See if you are getting power to the motor when either the master or the door switch are activated.

Re: Fun with Power Windows!

Hey Bill! Thanks for the advice. That is a nice CIB you have there. I earned the EIB back when I was in, several years ago now.

Regarding the meter. I can check the the pigtail for the motor plug but I thought I needed the door switch to be plugged in.

Another thing I could do is look at the master switch and try a swing test there. My problem with that is I do not know the pin outs for the master. Any ideas were those might be?

Thanks
Dave
