Headlight switch arm

I have a question in regards to the headlight switch arm on the steering wheel column. I have a 05 limited with nav, dvd, hemi and so forth. It is somewhat loaded up. I was under the impression the limiteds came with automatic headlights. There is a sensor on top of the dash and it also has a option of headlights on with wipers in the information menu. The stack does not have the "A" on there and I am wondering if maybe it was replaced by the original owner with a incorrect one. I would like to add the correct stalk and have the feature of automatic headlights. Before I spend the money for a different stalk is there another way to tell if it had auto lights from the factory other than the features I mentioned earlier?

Thanks

Mitch

Go to Jeep.com, click on the owner site login, register, enter your vin and you can see everything it came with the day it left the factory including dealer added options. If it came with automatic headlights it will tell you there. It is very likely that it was replaced as it appears the multifunction stalk causes many malfunctions.

Re: Headlight switch arm

Man what great info! The WK did come with auto lights, also auto high beam whatever that is and power folding mirrors?? Learned about some features I didn't know it had. Also looks like it was maintained at the dealer from day 1. I appreciate the heads up on the Jeep site.
