Hello from Dubai! ( questions on tranny issue)

Hi Folks, I recently bought a WK 4.7 import from the US (Rhode Island to be precise) with 62k miles on the clock and have been slowly taking care of all the jobs the previous owner never bothered with. So far, I've changed the .....
Plugs
PCV
Rear wiper (old one snapped in half)
New section stitched into ripped driver's seat
Front diff bushings (the dif was hanging on the bolts only)
Replaced snapped exhaust studs on both sides
Repaired a damaged rear bumper
TPS

Quite a few jobs to do yet and I'd like to ask for some advice please.....

At 40mph under really light throttle, their is a hesitation / bucking feeling. I've read that it might be the TPS so I changed it and no improvement. I also read that it might be due to a software fault in the PCM that controls partial torque converter lock up in 3rd. Apparently there is a re-flash available, but I wondered if anyone else has had this issue / solution before I book it in. Getting the stealership to understand what I'm saying is always a struggle out here, so I want to make sure I'm on the right track.

Many thanks!!
Stuart

Re: Hello from Dubai! ( questions on tranny issue)

Just in case anyone has been hanging back on offering their opinion on this one, the problem has been solved.
Took the Jeep to the dealership over here and the guy Jonjon100 recommended to me did a great job.
He knew what the issue would be so he arranged a PCM flash with the latest software, which solved the problem. Drives great now. No shudder, smooth as silk and a lot more power delivery too.

He was also kind enough to have the throttle body cleaned for me and did a courtesy bumper to bumper check as the car was imported with zero history. (Thankfully only a couple of minor jobs need long term attention).

Total price ? $150 including wash and full interior valet.
I'm well pleased !!!
