Help me please!!!! I'm close to crying

SO... I finally decided to change the shocks and springs on my 2005 5.7L Grand Cherokee for Bilstien Shocks and SRT Springs. I finished the back completely but the front is giving me huge problems.

I cannot for the life of me get the bottom of the front shock out.

I did however manage to take the nut out from the ride side

I would truly appreciate any help, Thanks.

Do you have a spring/strut compressor?

The fronts are struts under a LOT of pressure. I would take it somewhere if you don't have a spring/strut compressor. Be safe not sorry, they can really hurt you badly even kill you!

Now if you do have a spring compressor.

Disconnect the upper ball joint from the spindle/steering knuckle to the upper a arm. This will allow it to travel more. Remove the 3 bolts holding the strut tower to the body under the hood. It also has the strut tower brace attached to it so it's gotta come out 2.

Now remove the bottom bolt from the wishbone to the lower a arm. remove the strut tower. You may have to beat the wishbone off of the strut at this point in order to remove it completely.

Please be safe if you don't have the correct tools don't go any further!

After safely compressing the spring!!!
Remove upper strut tower mounting plate from strut.
Remove lower wishbone from strut if you didn't already.
Relieve spring pressure from spring. Carefully!

Install new spring on Bilstein strut.
Compress and attach upper strut tower plate and re-install.

I rented a spring compressor from O'Riley and I used it for the back. The top part of the front spring is compleatly out, I took out the bolts under the fuse box and coolant tank but I cant get the bottom bolt out. Should I compress the springs and then try?

yep, what he said... take that upper ball joint out of the knuckle and it will give you more travel in that lower control arm. its still not a cake walk, they still dont just fall out but you will actually be able to get them out though.

My mechanic charged me $75 to do the front shocks and springs, it was money well spent imo. The rears are cake though as you already know

You'll need an impact air wrench to remove that bolt. That's how I did mine and it was hard, with a lot of WD40.

I tried with an impact air wrench and still nothing but I just removed it from the top and kept that bolt in tact..... FINALLY

Good that you managed to get the strut out. That bolt was really hard, took me half an hour with an impact wrench and a lot of WD40. So what I did, soak it, try loosening; soak it, try tightening and did this for half an hour until it finally gave way.
