Exclamation Help - Trailer turn signals not working..

So I installed a Mopar 7-way harness on my 09 Laredo... Part# 82211150AC

http://www.jeepworld.com/accessories...arness_ifu.pdf

I followed all the instructions perfectly. Went and had the dealer turn on the function and still no turn signals.

I went back to the dealer later and had them confirm that it was turned on, as they said it was and still no signals.

I have running, reverse and aux power

I've triple checked everything fuses, wiring, relays, ect...

The two relays are not clicking when the turn signals are turned on.

Any suggestions....

Re: Help - Trailer turn signals not working..

Two things
1. I noticed in the turn signal relay sockets the 87a location is blank... is this normal?

2. Could someone tell by the instructions which wires on the harness are for the turn signals

Re: Help - Trailer turn signals not working..

The 87A contact of the relay is the normally closed contact, which in this setup is not used.
Attached the trailer tow schematic, maybe that you can use it for trouble shooting.

Thanks for the wiring schematics....

Definitely not the trailer though, the trailer is almost brand new and works on my other trucks. And Ive used a multimeter at the connector

Re: Help - Trailer turn signals not working..

I jumped 30 to 87 and I have full power to the 7-way connector....

Im really starting to think the stealership is lying to me about actually activating it. Even though I only payed them $40 Im gonna lose it on them soon

PS when I brought it in the second time, they gave me a print out of the WiTec codes and there were none for the trailer and all were cleared.

On mine there was also one installed after but there's nothing , it's almost a "plug and play " harness no extra relay ..

Well to keep the story short went to another dealer explain my story, they slapped it on the WiTech refreshed the download and bam now they work. At no charge either! First dealer has lost my business for good.

Re: Help - Trailer turn signals not working..

Amazing how such a simple task could go wrong at the stealer.
