Idle Drops Below 500RPM And Feels Like Its Gonna Stall!! HELP!!

Ok, I have been reading posts for the past hour, and never really found an answer.....

So I have a 2008 3.7 4WD Grand Cherokee, and just recently, while I am stopped at a stoplights, my idle briefly goes below 500RPM, and it feels like my Jeep wants to stall, then the idle goes right back up to 700-750. This happens a few times every time I am stopped, with my foot on the brake. I have read several posts saying to #1, clean the IAC valve....Well, from what I understand, my 2008 3.7 doesnt have an IAC...??? #2, I have read to top off the transmission fluid.....Well, again, my 2008 3.7 has a capped transmission dipstick tube!

So has anybody else experienced this low idle/stalling, or does anybody have any suggestions before I end up wasting money, and taking it to the dealership?????

My 07 will drop down to about 450-500 rpms sometimes at a light. The idle gets a bit rougher for sure but it doesn't feel like its going to stall. Also, if it's jumping from 500 to 750 then something is wrong for sure.
Now if I am running the AC or defrost it idles consistent at about 600-650 and is nice and smooth.

Fuel system service or remove the TB and manually clean it.

This is far from a severe issue. I wouldn't even consider it an issue. Just maintenance.

Most would post to use sea foam but I'd rather do the fuel system service from an auto shop.

SEA FOAM

It works like a champ to clean all the gunk out of the entire fuel system

So, besides a good bottle of fuel system cleaner (which I hope will cure the problem, but I am doubtful), what other suggestions do you guys have?

That's it. Sea foam or having an auto shop perform a fuel system service will solve your issue.
