Re: Jeep Idling Concern
Yes, since September of this year, it happens. In fact, the engine/Jeep needs to get pretty wet in order for it to happen. If I drive to the local store in the rain and back home, it will not happen. So, typically after 30-45 minutes of constant driving in wet conditions.
To date, I have conducted all the recommended service requests, oil changes, etc. Jeep has installed the latest updates to the internal computer, removed a small amount of carbon build-up, and replaced cyclinder 5 head when we discovered that the spark plugs were burning. At this point, I pray for sunny days only since I cannot drive it safetly in the rain. Thanks for your suggestions. If this narrows down any additional thoughts, thanks!!
