Re: leaky sunroof.

On the Drivers side? I have this same problem and I took off the handle, appears to be coming from either the windshield seal or above, havent gotten to troubleshooting any further. I may be taking out the headliner soon to see where it comes in from.

Re: leaky sunroof.

Sometimes the sunroof is out of calibration not making a good seal. But what tends to happen is the drains in the sunroof trough that collects the water are clogged. Please visit this thread for more details --> leaking sunroof

yep, happened on my 2007 AND on my 2009. I figured it out because it didn't leak when i'd push up a little on the sunroof before I went into the car was. Re-calibrated the sunroof, and it was fixed.

Re: leaky sunroof.

I still think it is something other then the sunroof, I think it is where the windshield meets the pillar.

There are 4 drains for the roof that run INSIDE . One each go down the A pillars B pillars.

So i would start there.

Re: leaky sunroof.

I had the exact same problem with my 2008 CRD. Finally figured out that the front right drain tube was blocked about halfway up. I was able to get some rigid wire up the drain tubing from underneath the car to clear the blockage.
