Led bulbs wont work

I recently bought LED bulbs for the tail/brake lights, and when I put them in they would barely turn on. They have a very dim light and when you turn the lights on or hit the brake nothing happens. I bought the bulbs from work (napa) and they were taillight LED bulbs, has anyone done this and have this issue?

Re: Led bulbs wont work

Many have done this, and I am not one of them, so I am sure an expert will chime in with their thoughts.

I do know that in the vast majority of applications, LED brake and turn signal lights do not work with the stock "flasher" units because they draw such little current.

I know some people will leave some regular lights on the circuit or otherwise wire in a resistor to get it to work properly.

And yes, they will be dimmer than a comparable incandescent.

I have some all over my wk and I know they are supposed to go a certain way or that won't work do you have a picture of how they look like? My reverse light have been on for like 2 years and they look outstanding.

you need a 3157 CK RED LED bulb. and a 6 ohm resistor in an 07 with one bulb on each side.
if you get GOOD BRIGHT BULBS they will outshine incandescent.
