more on my mystery rattle.....I am stumped

Well, I have had a little more time to look into the rattle I have. This is what I know so far and what has been checked. I have a 2005, 5.7L

First, the rattle only occurs when it is very cold outside and the Jeep has been sitting for awhile (usually happens when I first use the Jeep in the mornings) also, I park outside.

The rattle sounds like it is underneath the front cabin area and more on the passenger side.

The rattle sounds metallic.

Once the engine is warm and I have been driving a bit, the rattle goes away (or is near silent so I can't hear it)

If the Jeep is parked in Neutral and I rev the engine, there is no rattle.

If I load the engine with one foot on the brake and one on the gas, there is no rattle.

The exhaust bolts are all tight and I can not see anywhere where something is close to the body where it might be touching. Also I can not see any scratches or signs of rubbing anywhere.

What puzzles me is that it goes away when the engine is warm. I don't think the sound is engine pinging but maybe I am wrong.

Has anyone had this similar problem? Anyone have any ideas where I should look next?

A missing sealing or Patch or weld point in to the body , seat in the area or try to duplicate it by standing your feeds and will maybe feel the movement in floor no care the temperature , some time a hammer can help deforming the panel some mms.

Sounds like something with the exhaust if it goes away when hot and returns when cold.

^This. I had nearly identical symptoms (a metallic noise when cold right around the 3000rpm range, not duplicated in park or netural). Went up and down the exhaust with a rubber mallet looking for a loose heat shield or something and was never able to find it.

Had the noise for 4+ years.

Did some work on the transmission which required dropping the exhaust, and when everything went back together...no more rattle. Have no clue what it was, but it's gone now.
