My Friends 2005 3.7 POWER/RPM's/SHIFTING

Hey guys,
my friend recently came to me with a problem with his 2005 3.7 JGC
I went over and test drove it to see for myself...
sooo..I'm not quite sure of the source of the problem but a few things I notcied
-
--that it feels like it has LOST power dramatically
--throttle response seems REALLY sensitive (but not power at all) when you tap the pedal the RPM's JUMP

another problem with the RPM's and SHIFTING
--each gear seems to sit real high and almost get stuck before you need to power the pedal to get it to drop down into next gear.
--another thing I noticed was you constantly have to apply more pressure to the pedal in order to keep going the same speed...

any help would be great
thanks!

possibly a issue in the ETC? that's a tough one. did you try to reset the battery? unhook the cables and see if it will fix it

No ETC on an 05 3.7l, its cable.

Does it have a dipstick? If so how does the fluid smell and is it full?

Any codes? key dance.
