Nag1 722.6 Conductor Plate

Hello all, I have a 2006 Jeep GC SRT8 with the NAG1 722.6 5 Speed. Lately it has been spitting out the P2767 trouble code on my Diablo Sport trinity. It goes into limp home mode and occassionally the MIL light comes on.
Now at the moment it is in with a Auto Gearbox expert in Hobart, Australia. He has told me the conductor plate needs replacing. He rang Jeep Australia and the part is $800. I have seen and cannot find it anywhere, there were guys fixing these issues with aftermarket units. Can someone recommend a website or similar. Jeeps in Australia are not very common and let alone the SRT8 variant. Any help is appreciated as I cannot afford to spend thousands of dollars on faulty items.
Also the gearbox specialist thinks the new part will have to be reprogrammed by jeep and placed into a learn mode, is this correct or can my Trinity do this?

Thanks
Matt

Re: Nag1 722.6 Conductor Plate

I don't know about where to find the conductor plate, but someone on one of the Jeep forums posted a youtube video on how to replace it. I think it may have been a Mercedes shop's video. You may want to do a search for it, and maybe it'll tell you where to source the part. You may also want to check out some of the LX/LY (Chrsyler 300C, Challenger, Charger, Magnum) forums, as all the Hemi LX/LY's have the NAG1 transmission. By the way, the job didn't look that intense, probably easy to do at home if caution is used. I'll also hunt for the video.

Re: Nag1 722.6 Conductor Plate

Here's the video:

And, I found a conductor plate on EBay for about $150 U.S.
