Need a picture

Anyone have road magnet springs for a Wk1 with a 1.7 or 1.3 drop in the rear? I would like to see the difference before i purchase a set of springs.

Re: Need a picture

The Eibachs lower the front and back about the same amount. Here's what my 06 looks like with the Eibachs....front/rear and SRT body kit.....rear bumper is taller than the stock bumper by about an inch or two, so check the top of the tire to wheel well clearance.

Re: Need a picture

Road Magnet is a different brand of spring. They may be very similar though. I don't know anything about them or their quality. Eibach has been around forever and has a good rep. I used Eibach SRT lowering springs and sway bars, front and rear. It now handles like it is on rails and even better now with the low profile 20 in. tires/wheels. A total blast to drive now, especially on the winding mountain roads.

Re: Need a picture

Nick, I see you're in New Jersey. Just a word of caution, especially if you add the SRT front bumper and the lowering springs. With that setup, the front of the Jeep will become a snow plow with anything over about 4 in. of snow on the road. Where I live we normally don't get that much snow, but I've still plowed a little since I've had it lowered with the SRT front bumper. Yours may not be quite as bad if you lower it and leave the stock front bumper on. Because of your location, I'd recommend you take some front bumper measurements before you do this.

Thanks for looking out bro. Jersey is usually pretty bad when it snows. I am looking to get the SRT front end for sure, but i could always just keep my stock and swap them out for the winter season? And my brother has his jeep lowered with the SRT bumpers and he doesn't seem to have any issues, although im not certain. Again thanks for the heads up, going to look into it!
