Need help!!

I was changing my antenna to a shorty and the part inside the fender that the antenna screws into is impossible to get to. It like fell further into the fender so i can't screw in the shorty antenna. HOW DO I GET TO IT!!! Is there a way in to get it back into place?

Re: Need help!!

ummm, the silver antenna base that is on top of the fender should be left in place...

did you twist off the base as well? i have a shorty antenna and it fits right into the stock base on fender...
