New LED Headlight Bulbs/Stay Dim in OFF Position

Hey everyone! Haven't posted much here, and after some searching, I cannot find the answer to my problem.

I have 2008 WK and I just installed a pair of Flashtech 9006 LED headlight bulbs. Simple install, but for some reason the bulbs stay on...dim when the vehicle is running and light switch is on OFF, Parking Lamps, or in Auto. When in headlight-on mode only, the bulbs come on with full brightness. Mind you, this is occurring in the daytime. I'd assume if the switch is on Auto, then at night the LEDs would come on full brightness. To my knowledge, I do not have DRLs. I don't have this problem with regular halogen bulbs, obviously. Once the vehicle is off, the lights do turn off as well. I'm sure the solution is simple, but I'm hoping someone can guide me in the right direction. Do I need to add a resistor to each bulb? If so, how large of a resistor do I need? Is this CANBUS related?

Thanks for your help!

Solution found: if you're looking to install LED headlights, you're gonna need a resistor on both lights. This fixed the problem. I purchased a pair of pre-wired resistors with 9006 male and female connectors from Amazon for less than $10. Resistors are 50w 6ohm. Plugged them in and now the lights shut off like normal, even in Auto mode.

Still love these lights. Very happy with the purchase.
