Unhappy New member from South Carolina with a problem

I recently bought a 2005 jeep grand cherokee limited 5.7L hemi. one morning a few weeks ago after a very heavy rain i went outside to find about an inch of standing water in both front floorboards! no idea where the leak is coming from. my sunroof seems to sit about half an inch below the level of the roof, but there didn't appear to have any evidence of water in the headliner, just the floorboards. then this evening while at work it started raining so i brought the jeep inside our truck bays as soon as i could. the front passenger floor board was wet, and it looked like the water was coming from the door side, midway between the seat and front of the floorboard. still can't seem to find the source of the leak. anyone have any ideas? from reading on the site i've noticed several people have had problems with the sunroof drain tubes, but it sounds like my water is coming in at a different place than everyone else's. any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

when it rains check if water is also at front of the dashboard, just stuck a papertowel by the windshield and put it out to see if its wet.
I had a leak also, my passenger carpet was wet after rains.
it turned out to leak thru apillar. I removed plastic guard on the a pillar exterior and put a lot of roof silicone sealant when couple of metal sheets are on each other and make almost a whole to the inside which is not sealed enough from factory. there is even TSB to it. when you pull the platic guard youll find this place at the top of apillar, below windshield top line.

The glass should be level with the roof. You need to recalibrate the roof
