New member - HVAC control and sunroof issues

Hello, I am a new member, owner of a 2005 Grand Cherokee Laredo. I have annoying issues with the HVAC controls and the sunroof, which have never been solved--not even by Jeep technicians when the vehicle was under warranty! All vents "leak" air when the flow is directed somewhere else. The HVAC control lights went out. Water comes down the A pillar unless I push the sunroof in a certain way when closed.

Re: New member - HVAC control and sunroof issues

There is a fix for the clogged drain vents in your roof. I also have the air leak and it is annoying. Send a pm to diboblo to fix your lights he does amazing work. Welcome to jg

Thanks. Is that drain fix something I could do? Do you know where I can get that information?

Re: New member - HVAC control and sunroof issues

It could be something you can do, if its your front drains it will simply require blowing them out (typically), if its your rears (more common failure) then you will have to detrim the entire rear end of the vehicle and run new drain tubes, this will require drilling in VERY tight areas. A big problem with the drain tubes is the spray foam used in the cavities constricts them, a small amount of debris will plug them and due to the constriction there is no way to blow them out.
