ps my old seats were leather and powered~ i thought everything between 05-07 was plugin play. =(
yeah my seats had memory, no pass doesnt work. i didnt splice anything. i just realized that the plugs were very different. jthey dont plug into eachother because there different. so its the red and black? all the red and black? or a certain few? i know theres red and black and then theres all like a black wire with red in it. so many confusing colors!
Don't know. Wish I had the wires and shit in front of me so I can be more help. All I can say is find 12 volts and feed it to the correct wires on the switches.
And you also need the pretensioners from your old seats but you don't have the old seats so now you're going to have an airbag light on all the time in the dash. I got that from Svenska's write up. That's probably the least of you concerns.
Can you post some pictures of the wire harness on the SRT seats? The harness for the switches.
iirc the only wire that lines up is the green heated seats. you will most likely need new pretensioners and they are pretty expensive. if the srt donor was in an accident than the pretensioners will be unusable.
i took the pics with my webcam on computer..on the wk plug the colors i can see that are as close to black and red is..one solid black wire and one red/yellow wire..for the srt plug i see a black wire and a yellow/red wire also...should i connect those are those power
