Re: No power

Did you ever get this resolved?

I have the exact same problem, 07 3.7 w/76k miles. Once the engine is warm it randomly drops from 550ish to 450ish at idle. It'll also stay at around 500 and the car will shimmy a bit. Only once it's warmed up. When I rev it in N or P, it goes up and stays revved for a few seconds before it drops back down. So far, I've:

New throttle body (put the 4.7 on and it increased mpg by 1.5-2)
New PCV valve
New EGR Valve

I have 4 O2 sensors that should be here tomorrow. Gas mileage is between 11-14 and around 18 hwy. Any thoughts?

Re: No power

Just to update, since no one else seems to want to talk here...

I replaced all 4 O2 sensors, idle is MUCH better, the old ones were burnt up pretty good. The throttle still stays high for a second before dropping, but it's noticeably better.

Next I'm tackling the MAP sensor, mainly for preventative maintenance.

Not sure it the OP had this particular problem or not, but my idle surges and drops pretty low when my AC is on...and it cycles often and is accompanied by a hissing from the glove box. Might try to change the clutch and sensor there too.

Gas mileage still seems to be the same, but it's raining here and stop and go constantly.
