Outside Temp Display on Dash not working

I have a 2006 Grand Cherokee, Laredo 4 x 4, 6 cylinder.

Every feature on my instrument panel is working fine except the display box for the outside temp and direction. This is black when driving. However, when I park and open the door, the "Driver door open" warning will display. This tells me that the display is working, but it doesn't seem to get any info for the outside temperature. Is there a sensor somewhere that I can check? Any other suggestions?

Re: Outside Temp Display on Dash not working

Have you have tried pressing the C/T button to cycle through the different displays (Compass / Temperature / Blank Screen)?
