Red face pcm

thanks for the 2 emails, the 1 was very helpful, turn the key 3 times to read code, and I found a P0601 not good. I open the pcm was going
to try and fix it but its the old style just full of jell, so now time to find
a rebuilt 1 . this is why it would not start.
keep every 1 up to date.
how can I test the plugins to the pcm for shorts, I have a dig volt meter
I don't have a wiring diagram. 1 for Jeep 2001 grand Cherokee 4x4 se
4.7 all for valve stem seals.

thanks for the help
Gary

Re: pcm

Hello Gary,
Please post next time in the WJ section (99-04). You have now posted in the WK section (05-10).
Do you want to measure the wiring from the PCM connectors to the sensors?
I have a 00-04 manual, eventhough i know that there can be some differences between this 00-04 manual and my 04 manual.
There are many pages in the wiring manual which show the PCM connectors. I probably could send you those pages when i be at home on Thursday night.
Did you do the valve stem seals with the engine in place? I did it myself last year, with a selfmade valve spring compressor, and it was a hell of a job to do on my own, especially pressing the valve spring with one hand and then to put the valve lock halfs back in place.
