PLEASE HELP! FLickering dash lights, clicking when trying to start, invalid/alternate

Please help me.

Came out from store. Here is what happened. Everything was fine, before, no warning signs.

1) Dash/cluster lights go crazy! Flickering on and off.

2)Clicking sound when turning the key. Engine will not start.

3) Message saying 'invalid key' then 'use alternate key'.

I tried:

-Jump starting, did not work.
-Changing FOB batter, did not work.
-Used a different key., did not work.

Lights go dim, did not even have enough power to roll windows up. Finally, seemed to be enough power to roll windows up.

Attempted to start, only to hear clicking and the dash lights going crazy.

Please help!

Is this a bad starter??

Re: PLEASE HELP! FLickering dash lights, clicking when trying to start, invalid/alter

This sounds more as an empty/bad battery. If you have a charger, i would first charge it and try again. If it still doesn´t start, measure the battery voltage. Fully charged it should read 12.7V. When below the 12V even after charging, than most probably the battery is bad.
