Re: really getting mad with xenon

ok i try with 30A for the fuse but is amost the same..if i turn on directly the low beam without the 10-15 sec in the "position light" i still have just one light working,......

i dont wanna risk with higher Ampere fuse because maybe i could damage the ballast no??

I am using that same relay with no issues, but that's not to say that yours couldnt be defective. It is really cheap afterall.

Re: really getting mad with xenon

ya the quality looks like terrible!!!. i purchase it on ebay from Singapore for $7 each but they ship me 2 so i even try to swap the relay from one to the other to check if it was damaged..but still i have this annoying delay on the right lamp...so i cannot use the remote to turn on the lighs because otherwise just one ll light up

Re: really getting mad with xenon

your problem is in the ballast, didnt you saw the delay followed the swap? if it didnt then the problem is in the bulb or the crappy relay

Re: really getting mad with xenon

I dont think so because before without the relay i had flickering problem but no delay.. Same ballast.. After the realy i have this.. I try even to swat the relay with other one.. Maybe is the voltage of the realy that could be wrong or they r all the same? Thanks

Re: really getting mad with xenon

No, for me is worse because now if i dont wait at last 1 min the right lamp flash a little but doesnt turn on..i have to switch off and on the light and then it start to work...so strange.. Is like the relay have to accumulate power for 1 min and is not normal....
If i put onothere realy on the right lamp? So i ll have 1 relay per lamp?! No?

Re: really getting mad with xenon

I think that the one accumulating power is the ballast It have to reach 24000 volts or so. You should change the ballast, it is the same type o technology of florescent bulbs, remember when they use to fail a little to star and blink before the light up?

Re: really getting mad with xenon

Yes the only solution i see is change the ballast... I have two more so i can try to swap it and see if its working.. I ll do it tomorrow because now im not in town and i ll let u know if its work!
This strange stuff of te ballst or relay already burn me the bulbs once... So im scared it ll happen again...
Yes the blink a little before turning on...

Re: really getting mad with xenon

I think its the ballast mine flashed then did not fully turn on it took a couple of power cycles to get it to start it only got worst. Thin i changed the ballast and bam problem fixed. Its a bad ballast just change it out.
