Rear Joint on Front Drive Shaft- Need Help Please!!

I've got an awful grinding/thunking noise happening whenever I push on the accelerator. I THINK that I've narrowed it down to the rear joint on the front driveshaft. Does anyone know if this would be a sound that could make? Is that a U-Joint? I'm trying to find the part online somewhere but it would help if I knew what it was called!!

Thank you for any help you can provide!!

Is this what I need possibly?
"Repair kit for the transfer case end of the front drive shaft" sounds right.

For the next guy:

That is a CV joint. Bought a new one at a local driveline shop for $145. Swapped it out. Good as new.
