Rear SIDE defogger - issue ???

Hey all....

Rear SIDE window defogger - any idea how it can set to 'on' - there is a button for the rear defogger but do they share the same button with the side one ?? Asking cause my rear defogger works fine but the rear SIDE not working

Any ideas welcome.....Thanks

Re: Rear SIDE defogger - issue ???

I don't believe a rear defogger/defrost on the side glass was an option.

Heated mirrors, and rear defrost only...

Oh yes it is an option (at least for export models). I can see the resistors running through my rear side window (a.k.a quarter glass). It should be operable with the rear window but it's not - should be under the same circuit..... but its not...

I do think that your suppost window heater is in fact the integrated radio antenna. It is only on one side, isnt it? This is also the case on the European build WJs.

Touche !!! It is the antenna .....i pulled down the rear part of the headliner and noticed the antenna mobule connected to these strange thin lines (resistor look) running through the glass. Take it's only on export models. !!!!

Thanks !!!!!!
