Hi everyone, Im at my wits end with my Jeep so maybe ya'll can help me out.
Whenever I drive my WK first thing of the day for maybe 10 miles or so Ill have severe shuddering when Im turning my wheels either way. Accompanied by this is my steering wheel has a mind of its own. It fights me the whole turn and as soon as I let go it flys back to center (or close to it). I took it to a mechanic who said that my 2'' Rough country lift is making the CV axles bind, which would make sense but the symptoms were occurring when I bought the Jeep bone stock, plus to me the angle doesn't look that severe (Ill attach pics). I read through all the reviews of the lift and I couldnt find anyone who said it messed with their axles.
So far I've replaced the rack and pinion and both cv axles, and replaced the front diff with new fluid and to no avail. Ill attach a video as well, hopefully the noise can be heard. If it matters the Jeep dealership was closed so I threw royal purple 75w-140 with the LSD additive in the diff.
Any push in the right direction is much appreciated!!
Update: So I watched the video and its not showing the problem that well, Ill find my go pro charger and mount it underneath and see if I can get you all a better view point. Should be up tomorrow.
