Some Minor Issues...

When I installed my K&N CAI and ported TB I accidentally broke a couple things. The plastic clip thing that attaches the cruise control cable to the TB snapped and won't stay on now, so my cruise doesn't work. Also I broke a vacuum line or something and I'm not sure what the heck it does or how to fix it. See attached pictures. I appreciate any help I could get. Thanks.

Re: Some Minor Issues...

If you have the piece that broke off? you could jb weld it back on, or if you don't have it, jb weld a small piece in its place.
are all 3 of those hoses supposed to go together like a "T" ?

Re: Some Minor Issues...

Silly goose. Replace the parts that broke. Chances are you'll have to fab something up for the cruise control or replace tb...

if you don't want to replace that cable, you could break of all of that plastic piece then replace it with a electrical terminal like this. you'll have to crimp it and then to be safe solder it on. as long as you don't get one that's way too big it should be fine. you might even be able to find a clip that you could use as a retainer from Ace Hardware or something.

Re: Some Minor Issues...

Old thread but I just fixed the cruise control with a zip tie lol. Still haven't found a solution for the other broken vacuum line or whatever it is.
