Steering noise

Had a steering noise, so I replaced the front drive shaft fluid and also put in the friction additive with it. Noise went away for a week and now it is back. Any ideas?

Re: Steering noise

Could be that not enough friction modifier was mixed in. Before the fluid and modifier where mixed by the gears, maybe a higher amount of modifier went into the diff lock and solved the problem, where after mixing it, the concentration became too low again and the binding started again.
I understood well that the noise is there during steering only? (tight turns)

I used this and on the back it says not for quadra drive 2

It has the same part number as mopar besides the AB at the end. Does that matter?
