Strange double "clunk" noise when beginning from a stop?

Jeep is a 2005 5.7 Limited with 81.5K+ miles. Purchased at 77K. Is wife's vehicle which is the first problem because all she cares about is a great sounding radio, heated seats, and air conditioning period! I rarely drive the Jeep so when I hear strange "to me" noises and ask her about them, she has no clue. Situation is this. Jeep is fully operational at operating temperature. Pull up to a red light and stop. At green, begin to accellerate and hear two consecutive "clunking?" noises coming from the front. I am not able to isolate due to my degrading hearing at an advancing age-LOL. In either case, any ideas where I should consider to look for this "perhaps" problem? Thanks for any direction. I want to be educated with any of the "possibilities" so that I can be in position to question/be educated when brought for repair if necessary. If this is the last post for me in 2011, HAPPY NEW YEAR to all on this great forum!!!! Thanks.

I would check the bushings first. With 82 k miles on your truck I think the bushings are shot.
