Re: Surging, pulsing while driving

Ok guys, got the keep back its been over 2 weeks. They had to rebuilt the transmission. Apparently the torque converter clutches broke and pieces of it went into the tranny and clogged the filter causing internal trannyproblems. They rebuilt it, included valve body update, new torque converter, circuit board and they replaced both the ujoints. They were able to change the front u joints but the back they had to get a used driveshaft. I believe I can finally say after years that this thread can be closed .

Re: Surging, pulsing while driving

How many miles have you put on it? It does not surge any longer?

Not sure why you posted that twice...

Re: Surging, pulsing while driving

I'm glad you finally got a correct diagnosis and had your jeep repaired. My jeep is doing the same exact thing. I plan on taking it to the dealer soon. Thanks for all the information.
