Tire Pressure Monitoring Telltale Light: ON

Got up this morning to go to work, and my Jeep was totally fine.

Came out of work today at 7:30pm in the cold 22 degree weather; turned on my Jeep and saw that yellow " ! " TPM light on.

I scrolled through my settings, and it said "system okay." Didn't show me any tire with it's current psi rating.

Is this normal because it's getting cold now? (First time Jeep owner here since summer).

Re: Tire Pressure Monitoring Telltale Light: ON

You need to add a bit of air to them or fill them with nitrogen.

Air density changes with temperature. Colder temps = lower PSI. Nitrogen doesn't have this problem, but air does.

Check them with a old school hand gauge.

If you can check and fill them when cold.

My tires are filled with Nitrogen, and have remained at 51PSI since I put them on months ago. My spare tire is filled with air, and is an annoying little prick in the winter.
