trans fluid leak

I have a 2001 grand cherokee laredo 4x4..no check engine light.. shifts fine..trans fluid leaking from somewhere by front seal but doesn't look to be coming from the seal..all pan bolt heads towards front of pan have fluid on them..pan bolts are tight..goes through a quart of fluid every 40 miles or so..when facng downward slope leaks more that facing uphill..any ideas or suggestions

Welcome to the garage.
Your jeep is a WJ, so better to post under the WJ section to have more replies.
Which engine/transmission?
Did you clean the pan and surrounding area well and check for leaks? Is the fluid not coming from the bell housing? Could be a leak from the input shaft or torque converter.
