Transfer Case Range Position Sensor

Hi guys,Engine management light came on the other day, checked it with my reader, its saying Transfer Case range position sensor circuit high (TIPM) and transfer case range position sensor erratic performance, both active.I thought i would shift into Low range just to see if anything changed, and it did. It will not shift into low range now and the message "service 4WD system" flashed up on the dashboard. Any thoughts/ideas?,any advice much appreciated thank you.

Re: Transfer Case Range Position Sensor

sorted it buddy, there is a thread on here which talks you through removing the relevant fuse, diconnecting the battery, replacing the fuse and reconnecting the battery,it has to be done in a set order, then take for a run around the block.light off,4wd low back again.
thanks for replying though, good luck with yours.
