Angry Water pouring out of interior front handles

Just got my 08 Wk washed and as I'm
Sitting in it, in the wash, water starts pouring out of both supports along the windshield. The square cut pits located above and below the interior handle is the exact location. Anyone ever hear of this before? What should I do?

Re: Water pouring out of interior front handles

I am assuming you have a moonroof?

It is a fairly common occurrence for the drain tubes for the moon roof to become clogged, resulting in a leak as you describe. If you do a site search, you will find many discussions of this problem and what people have done to fix it.

Re: Water pouring out of interior front handles

The moon roof does not always close correctly, check that is closes flush with the roof, sometims it takes several attempts. I bevieve I have read that the dealer can do something that corrects the issue with a software upgrade.
