What in the starting problem? Wife is leaving over this! LOL

2006 Overland 5.7 140k. Start issue. But wait! Apparently I am the only husband who's jeep turns over like a champ but won't start. Just got this overland and it started just fine for a couple weeks. then once in a while turn over with no fire. changed cam/crk sensors, starter. no help. when it does fire it runs like a champ. yes fuel pump runs. yes relay kicks loud enough you can hear it. yes battery is full. yes wife wants to douse with gas and lite on fire! it's been in garage for 3 days now and won't hit a lick. turns over at 500? rpm and no fire. I can send my son down to try it will run fine for 2 weeks. then no start. here we go again. Ignition module?

sry to vent. very frustrating.

I would swap the auto shutdown relay with the blower motor relay, which just sits next to it in the power distribution center under the hood.
If it doesn´t start, do you smell any fuel from the exhaust?

YEAH!!! So far so good my man! I switched the relays and it started 4 times in a row! Took me 25 times to get it to start earlier today. I keep you posted. Awesome! Now how to get rid of this wife... LOL

Re: What in the starting problem? Wife is leaving over this! LOL

This most probably means that the relay which is now in the blower motor position has some problems. I would put a new relay on that position.
