Where does the automatic transmission vent tube exit?

posted this question on another jeep site, and didn't get a response.

the stock transmission has vent tube at the top. the vent tube connects to a rubber hose that terminates somewhere in the engine compartment. can anyone tell me exactly where their transmission rubber hose vent tube terminates in the engine compartment? I'd prefer to know the stock location, versus someone that has moved it.
