Where is the windshield wiper fluid reservoir?

I ran out of wiper fluid the other day and thought I would try something new. I bought the Rain-X kind with bug remover. Now that I tried it I now have a cloudy haze every time I run the wipers and it's awful. I think it's the fluid and I really just want to drain it and start fresh again with the cheap stuff. How hard is it to get to and drain?

Thanks!

there is no drain that I know of, you just have to spray it all out. I have used that fluid for years with no problems.

As stated above, you'll have a much easier time just running that fluid through compared to getting access to the resevoir. It is located right behind the drivers side bumper and to get good access you have to remove the driver front wheel inner cladding. Not all that difficult to do...but much harder than twiddling the stalk to have the washer fluid spray out.

Re: Where is the windshield wiper fluid reservoir?

You can reach down and pull the pump which is connected to two hoses at the bottom driver side near the air dam. all the fluid will then come out. but easier is to just run it until it all comes out,.

Thanks! I actually ended up pulling the hose where it connects to spray out and running it and draining it into a bucket then flushing it in about 5 mins. Much easier than I thought it might be. Back to the cheap stuff for me The guy at Auto Zone said some people love Rain-X and others see a haze and don't like it. Unfortunately I fell into the second group.
