Re: window fuse

I don't think this is going to be possible (at least not by simply pulling a fuse).

Looking at the wiring diagram suggests that the power windows receive their power through a 20A circuit breaker (specifically number 3). This also provides power for the drivers door lock switch and the memory module (I believe). Going further upstream, Fuse 7 provides the power to the circuit breaker.

So, if you stop power to the windows via that circuit breaker it looks like your power door locks may not work as well. If you pull fuse 7 (in the power distribution center), you will also lose a bunch of other stuff as well.

You can probably get into the wiring to do what you want - but is it really worth the hassle?

Re: window fuse

Hit the window lock button. Problem solved.

x2, yeah I really think it is going to be a big hassle to prevent even the drivers side switches from working...

I was too afraid to ask this question, as I too could fathom no other reason for disabling ALL of the windows...

If that's the case, I change my recommendation to pull circuit breaker #3, as this will also disable the power locks...less chance of them escaping that way.
