Wiper Ignition problem

I have a late 2005 WK Grand Cherokee CRD. The front wipers do a single sweep whenever the ignition is turned on or off - it was funny at first.. Any ideas of what could be wrong or where to check? The wipers work correctly the rest of the time.

Re: Wiper Ignition problem

a german guy had the same problem. he took the lid of the wiper motor off. app. there is a screw connected to give (-) to the motor. he scraped the silicon off, put a washer underneath it and it seams to be fine. maybe you want to try that
