Re: WK Moonroof stuck open-help

Nate Dog sivous pla

do this reset procedure. guys on lx have the same stuff and use it all the time. It is correct for the jeeop though.

they recommend you go find the fuse first so when you run for it you get the right one.

here you go:

1. Verify the rear of the sunroof glass to roof flushness concern.
2. UNCALIBRATE THE SUNROOF.
a. Insure the battery is at least 12 Volts.
b. Place the ignition switch in RUN position.
c. Locate the sunroof fuse (Fuse 44 in the Power Distribution Center located in the
trunk).
d. While the sunroof is still in motion, have an assistant remove the sunroof fuse.
e. Reinstall the sunroof fuse.

3. RECALIBRATE THE SUNROOF
a. Press and hold the sunroof vent switch until it stops at the full vent position.
b. Verify sunroof operation by opening, closing, and venting the sunroof.

Re: WK Moonroof stuck open-help

LOL Rob. But it's happen to me twice after that. Now I just disconnect the neg cable from battery for 10-20 min and it's good to go.

Re: WK Moonroof stuck open-help

it's easy to reset it yourself. I read a tread and did it myself a few minutes ago. With key on push the vent button. Hold the button until it goes up all the way. Then open the roof fully to vent 7 times and it is reset. Went to the dealer and they told me to leave my Jeep with them the whole day so they can look at it. In 2 minutes I fixed it myself. Thanks to this forum.
