If you have a check engine light on or stored in the ECU, then the remote start won't work longer than 15 seconds. Do the key cycle trick to check for and DTC codes.

Re: Wk/Wh 2005~ Grand Cherokee Faults And Issues

Does anyone make aftermarket diff or suspension bushings or are we stuck with oem? mine's out of warr. so i'd rather do it once and be done.

these "hemi ticks and shudders" can someone please discribe them? I have a sound that is like a bad flat tappet lifter is that the "tick" I also have a shudder or jerking when just cruising. VERY noticable in town less so on hwy. is that the incurable trans shudder?

I can't quote for the US mate as I'm on Oz, but they're making common bushes aftermarket here, so surely over there as well?

You nailed the tick and the shudder, exactly as described

Good innit! lol

Yes, your bulb must be out behind the controls. Just remove the panel, and replace the bulb or bulbs. All the controls should be lit up. Or, you have a loose wire somewhere...

these are non servicable bulbs... people have soldered in leds, otherwise you must replace the switch pannel.

So you're saying you can't just replace bulbs back there? You have replace the whole center control panel (meaning the part with all the ac knobs, menu buttons, ect.)???

Correct.
Unless you have soldering skills or take it to a pro to do, but I'd suggest a full replacemenrt is better.

Re: Wk/Wh 2005~ Grand Cherokee Faults And Issues

3.0CRD

Turning on the car, the engine will die after about 1-2 seconds. When this happend, it will flip between engine dying 1-2 seconds or nothing happening at all. DEF not battery.

Everything else works, when i say everything else, wipers, windows, sunroof, satnav etc.

Never has happend again. But would be good to see if others have had this. Found no TSB.
