Re: Wk/Wh 2005~ Grand Cherokee Faults And Issues

I'm not convinced it's running hotter than it should given that info. The fan always spins as slowly as it can, it's hydraulic and computer controlled, not a traditional engine driven fan.

It's very VERY hard to try diagnose these things over the net.... you could have a blocked cat, a collapsed muffler, a bad sensor.
Maybe disconnect the battery overnight and see how it performs after that?

If it IS in fact running hot, you SHOULDN'T be driving it!

Is there any way to tell if I have the "updated" throttle pedal by looking at it?

Re: Wk/Wh 2005~ Grand Cherokee Faults And Issues

ADD the Multifunction switch to the list....

I have read a lot of us having problems with them not having the proper connection. Mine right now causes my lights interior/exterior to go NUTS sometimes! flickers, dims. And when I give the stalk a nice bump, they go back to normal.

(Good thing im buying a new one with my Fog light mod addition!!)

Are you referring to the multifunction stalk that controls lights?

Yes. I have to give mine a nice bump every now and then to get it to have a good connection

Yes, the one where you turn on your Headlights/Fogs/Turnsignals. Mine is going out. I saw another WK on the road and he was experiencing thesame thing I was having. I always have to give it a tap and sometimes it shuts off my headlights at night if it isn't turned to the "Auto Position"

Issue: Faulty Control Stalk
Resolve the Issue: Replace the Control Stalk
