Re: 08 Bumper Bracket

Time will tell that a cheap fiberglass bumper will not hold up

Re: 08 Bumper Bracket

I am not sure about fiber glass bumpers. My $56 bumper cover is plastic. The OEM is also plastic. The quality seem the same on after market and OEM. I was not aware that there were fiberglass bumper covers...what vehicle are you refering too. I have a Loredo 2007 jeep grand cherokee....doing a front end conversion to a +08 model.

Re: 08 Bumper Bracket

I figured out how to install these clips by mistake. I no longer need the info. If you have any questions, I will try to explain. Just ask.

Re: 08 Bumper Bracket

Mission Accomplished. As I thought. $56.00 dollar bumper cover fit very well. Thank you CERTIFIT. I now need to find what other neat stuff I want to add like fogs, chrome insert, mesh. I will research my best option. But for now, I will enjoy my +08 new upgrade on my Lorado 2007 grand cherokee. :-)

Re: 08 Bumper Bracket

Well, just got my Fog Lights activated from the stealer! And....HELL yeah it feels good to see them on for the very first time. Not only that but I will be adding HIDs to the low beams (9006 in 6000k) pure white and the fogs (h10/9145 in 3000k) yellow.

Re: 08 Bumper Bracket

I still need someone to help me with the know how of hacking the turn signal, head light, parking light, fog light switch to *** only *** allow the fogs to come on. I believe that I may be able to do it. But it will require opening the switch and possibly filing or removing some plastic section the may be preventing or limitimg the arm switch. Hey, sometimes one must be a pioneer and do what no man has done before...hahaha.

Re: 08 Bumper Bracket

I am considering that the fogs may not come on if I manage to force the switch to on because it may be dependent on the position of the parking/headlight relay position. So that is yet another issue to be discovered.
