Re: 22" SRT REPS...Please Help!! Thanks

I have a 285/35/22 outback with my 22x10 Viper Rims n a 265/40/upfront n I have no rubbing or turning issues ..I think the 305/40 might be too big

Re: 22" SRT REPS...Please Help!! Thanks

I love my stance but once bc coilovers drop....so is my jeep lol....I have the Bwoody springs first gen I liked how it lowerd it but I must go lower BigRims n LowerRide=NICE ....To be honest I had 24" n I wasn't happy with a 30 series tire so dair was no way I was gonna do a 30 outback so my next option was to go 285/35 and 265/40 perfect bro the ride is lovely

Re: 22" SRT REPS...Please Help!! Thanks

Hey guys, that question Marty asked was directed for me since I was banned for awhile.

Im purchasing the 22" SRT reps, and I noticed the best size to go with is a 265/40/22 and a 285/35/22

However, those are on lowered vehicles. I plan on keeping my WK at stock height.

Now since Im doing a staggered setup, I have no problem with the 265/40/22 in the front. Butttttttt I was wondering, since the 20" srt8 reps can fit 315's in the rear, would a 305/40/22 fit? If not, I have considered doing a 285/40/22 tires, so that both tires are in the 40's.

Remember, I will not be lowering the vehicle, so I would LOVE some thicker sidewall. Now I don't care about the speedo changing, I can account for that. But otherwise, what other tire size options do I got for the rear. Im looking to stick with Nitto 420s tires.

Do you have 2wd or awd? if it's awd you can't run the 40's front and rear with the different widths.
example: 305/40/22.the 40 is 40% of the 305-so 122mm. thats sidewall height, the 265/40/22 would have a 106 mm sidewall. fine for 2wd not so much for awd.

Re: 22" SRT REPS...Please Help!! Thanks

Yes I have AWD. And I've heard that that issue is only dirastic with a major difference in the diameter of the wheel.

From the 265/40/22 to the 285/40/22 the difference is

Overall Diameter: 30.34 in 770.63 mm
Overall Diameter: 30.97 in 786.63 mm

To me, personally that isn't a major difference. I'm not running a 35 series. I just can't in this city. I'd rather deal with the consequences of a 40 series. I know it will work. Just curious as if the 305/40/22 would work
