Re: Bull Bar too Low?

IMO, it is to protect the front end for any damage. If a push bar is placed wrong, it could get pushed back into the car cause a hell of a lot more damage then one would want. Although I don't care for that style of push car (I like Redpit's style) I would still have to see a pic of it straight on.

Re: Bull Bar too Low?

redpits is the only style i like, but those bars multiple the damage done to your vehicle in a frontal collision

Thanks guys. Justin I responded in your other thread, so not to derail the op's thread.

Re: Bull Bar too Low?

@ DaneP : The brackets for the Westin Bull Bar can be easily modified with an angle grinder and a drill press (or a vice and a hand held drill. I moved mine up so it was centered on the air dam. Then I modded it again when I moved removed the air dam.

Re: Bull Bar too Low?

I recently pulled mine off and made a new one myself. I might make a
"new and improved" version 2.0 in the spring. But I'm happy with this one for now.

Dane, if you want to move the bar up and have any questions feel free to PM me.

Re: Bull Bar too Low?

Found a better pic. If you're leaving the air dam on then this is probably where you'll want the bar to sit.

Re: Bull Bar too Low?

Alright this is the most i could raise it, but i couldnt cut the gap any more. I tried to invert the connecting piece but that made the bar touch the bumper...
