Haha, nice to see people like the look. The Hunter brushguard there has held up great. Been on plenty of salted roads the past two winters and still no rust. Highly recommend it. Got it on eBay for...$190 if I remember right? It was a "display model with slight blemishes" (which I never found) so that might have been an extra low price.

It mounts to where the towhooks would otherwise be and has support behind the top bar going behind the grill.

Re: Bull/Brush Bar

Redpit, GCL06, that brushguard looks badass and has inspired me to make the purchase. Did you guys have to paint a chrome one black or did you find somewhere that had it already available in black? Thanks.

Thanks man. It comes powdercoated black. Call truck gear direct, they'll give you a better price over the phone.

Bought mine powdercoat black. If you need to paint stainless black you can sand it, use etching primer, then put your black coat over top. I accidentally bought my taillight guards in stainless and had a b!tch of a time trying to get the black to stay on till I used the etching primer.

Re: Bull/Brush Bar

if you want black, you should order powder coated. Stainless is usually 1/3 more the price of power coated so no point in buying stainless to cover it up. Just my opinion though.
