I painted calipers on my camaro but I had alot more time where i had them off completely, cleaned down to bare metal and then did several coats of high temp paint with a high temp clearcoat after. It last for a while without chipping or peeling. But it was also only driven in the summer. My brother has covers on his challenger, look good but you have to buy the higher end ones that not just plastic and are bolt on, not epoxy.

There's a site called palettebuilder.com where you can pick pretty much any color and they'll show you the best color combinations with that color. It's just a guide but at least it shows you what is most pleasing to the eye. It's like using a color wheel

Ya know Jeff...Some people just have that talent..It's like a sense of style and they just know what looks good together...Well, not me! All my taste is in my mouth!
At work sometimes Ill build spreadsheets or make powerpoint presentations and when people see the colors I use they say....Blechhhh!!! Something wrong with your eyes dude? That's disgusting!
So that's when I learned about color wheels. You pick any color and the best colors that will go with it are on the direct opposite side of the wheel. Most designers, painters, graphic artists use them all the time.

lol, I have a sense of style, just wanted to give the site a whirl. im split on color matching the calipers with black lettering (that will go with my theme) and red calipers with white jeep lettering. my talent just goes well beyond colors tho... my thing tho is I hate staying behind a desk, I have to visualize it on the vehicle or hear it. that's why I went thru like 6 different exhaust setups in a year and a half!
