Caliper covers - or paint?

Was thinking of painting the calipers on my 2008 Overland...until I saw caliper covers. Anyone positives and negatives either way? I'm leaning toward covers so I don't mess up my calipers and brakes.

Thx,

Keep it original and paint them. No need for Covers. People will make fun of you.

Re: Caliper covers - or paint?

Thanks guys, I was leaning towards painting anyway after going back and forth all afternoon (made my meetings go faster anyway). Going to go with red to show through the 22"s I plan on putting on

I went the paint option and am very satisfied. Purchased the G2 paint system. Pic attached. My color choice was torch red.
