they are the BEST! No laminating, flaws etc. I believe the new Black Ops venom hood is like $800.....their completely custom Viper hood is like $1100

I could garuntee you would get atleast that many.

What about your other hood? Would you ever offer that hood at 600 for a group deal?

I would be the first on the list

Re: Challenger Style Hood For The Jeep

If the Charger style hood is included in the group buy, I'll commit to buying one.

Is it for fiberglass or carbon fiber?

sorry for any confusion; but IMO you get lots more respect walking away from something you feel is overpriced. calling BS isnt going to help the cause; just saying

good luck

I disagree. You openly asked for opinions, and I gave you mine.

If this was a "For Sale" thread with a set price, then, as Rob said, if I didn't like the price, "walking away" is the thing to do.

BUT, since it's NOT a For Sale thread, but one of determining your potential customers thoughts...I've given you my thoughts. And if my thoughts are too strong for you, none the less, I've given you what YOU asked for.

With that said, putting the price FAIRLY to us "group buy" style will gain you MORE customers, than selling what the "others" sell for.

Re: Challenger Style Hood For The Jeep

Trufiber doesn't know about Black Ops? Hmm I thought the Grand Cherokee aftermarket world was smaller...

Chad @ Black Ops makes top quality carbon fiber for the WK & WK2, many would agree with that too, you can usually find him shoot'n the shit with everyone here on the forums.

1 of the hoods he has out:

Ok, sorry to thread jack but thought you should know about Black Ops since you're in the same market.

Anyways! I already have an aftermarket hood (Black Ops: Venom) so I'm not interested in a Challenger hood - but the more options the better IMO.
